This nationally recognized designation reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals and their families.

What It Means to Be a Certified Autism Center™

To earn the Certified Autism Center™ designation, our team completed position-specific professional development focused on best practices for assisting autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals.

This specialized training helps our veterinary professionals better understand sensory and communication needs while providing compassionate, individualized support throughout your visit. Bright lights, unfamiliar sounds, waiting rooms, and unexpected interactions can create challenges for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals. By understanding these needs, our team can better support families so everyone feels more comfortable and confident during their visit.

Our commitment doesn’t end with certification- our team continues its education to ensure we’re delivering an inclusive experience for every visitor.

Sensory Kits Available During Your Appointment

To further support our guests, PetVet365 offers sensory-friendly kits during your visit.

Our kits include comfort items that can help reduce sensory overload and create a calmer experience while you’re at the hospital. Depending on availability, kits may include items such as:

  • Noise-reducing headphones
  • Fidget tools
  • Sensory supports
  • Additional comfort items

If you or someone in your group would benefit from a sensory kit or comfort accommodations during your appointment, simply let our team know when scheduling or upon arrival.

We will gladly have the requested items prepared and available for your visit.
